Terms & Conditions – Heirloom Pantry Club

Article 2 – Applicability
These Terms and Conditions apply to every offer made by Heirloom Pantry Club and to every distance agreement between Heirloom Pantry Club and the customer.
By placing an order, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
Article 3 – Products
Heirloom Pantry Club sells food products (such as ketchup, pickles, hot sauce, and chili oil), merchandise, and gift boxes.
Gift boxes may contain products from Heirloom Pantry Club and/or other brands (food and non-food). These Terms and Conditions also apply to such combined packages.
All products are produced in small batches. Each product includes a batch number for traceability.
Article 4 – Food Information & Shelf Life
Heirloom Pantry Club food products have a minimum shelf life of 1 year unopened, provided they are stored correctly.
After opening, products must be refrigerated and consumed within a reasonable period.
The customer is responsible for proper storage after delivery.
Ingredients, allergens, and nutritional information are clearly stated on the product label and/or webshop.
Article 5 – Prices
All prices are stated in euros and include VAT, unless stated otherwise.
Shipping costs are shown separately before completing the order.
Article 6 – Payment
Payment is made through the available payment methods in the webshop.
Orders are only processed after full payment has been received.
Article 7 – Delivery
Delivery is made to the address provided by the customer.
Delivery times are indicative and may vary.
Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon delivery.
Article 8 – Right of Withdrawal (Important for Food Products)
The consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days.
Exceptions under EU law:
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Sealed food products that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken
- Goods that are perishable or have a limited shelf life
This applies to all food products of Heirloom Pantry Club.
Article 9 – Returns & Refunds
Non-perishable products (such as merchandise) may be returned within 14 days if unused and in original condition.
Food products cannot be returned if opened or if the seal has been broken.
Refunds are processed within 14 days after receipt and inspection of returned items.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed.
Article 10 – Gift Boxes
Gift boxes may contain products from multiple brands.
Heirloom Pantry Club is not responsible for information (such as ingredients or allergens) provided by external brands included in the gift boxes, unless stated otherwise.
The customer remains responsible for checking allergen and product information of all included items.
Article 11 – Complaints
Complaints must be reported within a reasonable period via:

Heirloom Pantry Club aims to handle complaints within 7 days.
Article 12 – Liability
Heirloom Pantry Club is not liable for damage caused by:
- Improper storage of products after delivery
- Allergic reactions if properly disclosed allergens were not checked
- Use of products after their expiration date
Liability is limited to the value of the order, unless otherwise required by law.
Article 13 – Force Majeure
In case of force majeure (such as production issues, supply chain disruptions, or logistical failures), Heirloom Pantry Club may suspend or cancel its obligations without liability for compensation.
Article 14 – Organic Certification and Origin
Heirloom Pantry Club offers 100% organic food products. Our products are certified in accordance with applicable European organic regulations.
We hold a recognized organic certification and work exclusively with suppliers who are also certified under European organic standards.
All organic claims are verified and supported by recognized certification bodies.
Article 15 – Transparency and Control
Heirloom Pantry Club strives for full transparency regarding ingredient sourcing.
While we exclusively work with certified organic suppliers, Heirloom Pantry Club cannot be held liable for changes in certification status of external suppliers after raw material delivery, provided the products were correctly certified at the time of production.
Article 16 – Use of Organic Label
The organic label used on our products refers to official certification by a recognized European control authority.
This label should not be interpreted as an absolute guarantee of exemption from all processing steps, but confirms that the product complies with legal organic production standards.
Article 17 – Compliance and Inspections
Heirloom Pantry Club is subject to regular inspections by recognized organic certification bodies to ensure compliance with European organic regulations.
All products are produced and processed under these controlled standards.
Article 18 – Governing Law
All agreements are governed by Belgian law.
Any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.
